Our Finance function is undergoing a large-scale transformation to become a leading practice function with highly scalable, efficient processes, high standards of control and promoting improvements to performance management. In this role you will deliver accurate and timely processing of AP/AR transactions, excellent service to internal and external customers and assist in the provision of financial information to the reporting team. What skills/experience do I need to be successful? AAT diploma holder or studying towards AAT qualification; Broad bookkeeping experience; Double entry rules and financial reporting experience; Some experience of working in a strong controls environment; Proficient with Excel and excellent numerical skills. How will I spend my time in this role? Processing, raising, settling, and reconciling purchase invoices/credit notes/sales invoices for SmartGen business; Processing cash receipts including allocations to outstanding invoices as per customer instruction; Create new and maintain existing supplier records in WD ensuring accurate details are held on file; Processing daily and weekly payments (BACS & CHAPS); Processing refunds to the customers; Month-end tasks as required; Point of contact for internal and external queries, ensuring queries are handled efficiently, whilst maintaining relationships and providing excellent customer services – daily management of central email inboxes; To provide the cover for other AP/AR team members and their responsibilities as directed by line manager.
