CTCM Business Readiness Manager

Method: Hybrid (3 days on site x 2 days remote – Flexible )
Contract: 6 months
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Readiness Manager to join our team in supporting a Clinical Trial Cost Management (CTCM) project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing investment transparency and management within Clinical Trials by ensuring the successful implementation of the new ABACUS system and related business processes.
As the CTCM Business Readiness Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful business implementation and adoption of the Clinical Trial Cost Management solution. You will manage and deliver Business Readiness activities including Go-Live Readiness, Super User Engagement, resource management, Hypercare, and the closure of the BAU implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain effective relationships with key project stakeholders across Design, IT, Data, Testing, Communications, and Training teams.
* Manage multiple activities, stakeholder groups, and a broad scope of the project.
* Review and report on project statuses, milestones, challenges, and accomplishments.
* Actively manage and mitigate internal and external dependencies within the project, including escalating risks and issues related to Business Readiness.
* Create and manage readiness criteria for go-live.
* Forecast and schedule resources for implementation tasks such as training, testing, migration/cutover, and Hypercare.
* Manage the user role mapping exercise for a dynamic user population.
* Oversee the end-to-end Hypercare phase and ensure successful project closure, including user adoption reporting.
* Ensure a smooth handover to post-implementation support and ensure all projects are fully transitioned to BAU organizations.
* Support deployment activities as required.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven track record in successfully implementing technology solutions with impactful process changes.
* Project management experience with deployments and a focus on ensuring successful outcomes.
* Excellent communication skills for working with key stakeholders, team members, and external partners to deliver the project roadmap and milestones.
* Experience managing the Hypercare phase of a project from start to finish.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to design and execute best practice readiness approaches.
* Degree or equivalent professional qualification, ideally financially qualified or part-qualified.
* Experience building cross-functional global networks and managing stakeholder relationships across various regions.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail, particularly when managing both local and remote stakeholders.
* Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
Desirable Criteria:
* Basic understanding of core financial processes or experience in the Clinical Trial space.
* Experience in establishing, running, and closing a Hypercare support phase.
