Attendance Officer
Support Staff Pay Grade H, points 14—20
(Actual Salary: £24,620 pa - £27,168 pa)
37 Hours per week, Term Time + 5 days training days—actual hours are 8am—4pm Monday to Friday.
Wollaston School is looking to appoint a dedicated Attendance Officer. This is a new post, and the successful applicant will join our high performing administration team.
We are seeking someone with the ability to get things done and achieve results quickly. This role requires a business professional who can drive good attendance at school and ensure positive outcomes. You will be confident and a great communicator.
The post involves responsibility for monitoring attendance, reporting and analysis of data, identifying concerns early on and create action plans to address these. Working closely with pupils and families to reduce levels of absence, being able to identify safeguarding issues and acting accordingly. This will require work within a school environment but also some home visits.
A high level of accuracy and computer skills are essential, experience within a school setting would be an advantage but not essential. If you have the passion and drive to join a school that really makes a difference to young person’s lives then apply for this exciting new opportunity.
