About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join in a stand-alone capacity. The Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the company's financial management, as well as HR and H&S.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
1. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and forecasts.
2. Manage the company's cash flow and ensure that all bills and invoices are paid on time.
3. Oversee the company's accounting function, including payroll, VAT returns, and corporation tax.
4. Prepare and submit financial information to external auditors.
2. HR:
1. Manage the company's HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
2. Ensure that the company complies with all employment law and HR best practices.
3. H&S:
1. Develop and implement the company's H&S policy.
2. Conduct regular H&S audits and risk assessments.
3. Ensure that the company complies with all H&S legislation.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. AAT / CCAB or QBE qualified.
2. At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
3. Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proven experience in HR and H&S management.
6. Experience using Sage 50 and Sage Payroll.
