Draig is recruiting on behalf of a Primary mainstream school in Flintshire. The role will involve supporting children of low-level ability, ADHD and Autism. As a teaching assistant, you will support children in small groups with reading, literacy, numeracy and skills. Teaching Assistants should have experience in behaviour management, however a free training course can be provided.
The hours of work are 8:45-3:15pm Monday and Friday. Pays £70.51 p/d
To be considered for this role you will need:
• Experience of supporting children or young people with autism, ADHD
• Be supportive, patient, sensitive and nurturing
• Experience working in childcare settings
• No qualifications necessary
Additional requirements:
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• References confirming suitability for role
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willing to apply
• EWC registration or willing to apply
• Safeguarding training or willing to take a free course with us
• Level 2 / 3 TA free TA courses available (subject to living in Wales)
