Our HR function plays a key role in the smooth running of our Council, and we have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Support Officerto join our team, working across our sites in the Wyre Forest and would be based primarily in Kidderminster.This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and this role is key in supporting the delivery of the People and Organisation Development Strategy. A typical day working as a HR Business Support Officermay include:
* Acting as first point of contact for all HR administrative queries; via phone calls, emails or referral from a team member;
* Providing administrative support across the wider HR team, where required;
* Working as part of a team, this role will be responsible for all payroll and HR system updates in the Council’s people management system and then corresponding change of contract letters/emails;
* Co-ordination of the onboarding process for new joiners and the leaver process;
* Production of standard letters, contract offers, references, DBS checking, etc;
* General administration as and when required to include e-filing and general maintenance of employee records;
* Working with the HR Advisory team to support in employee relations cases as required;
* Managing the exit interview process across the Council where required;
* Other ad hoc HR projects and work as required.
