Find your role
You will work alongside a Lead Web Designer to challenge briefs, drive innovation through testing and analyse creative performance. You’ll create optimised promotional web graphics and landing pages across ASDA.com and Online Groceries and ensure that activity and media is delivered on site, on time, accurately and on brand. Our Online teams strive for excellence every single day, working to manage the nuts-and-bolts of the day-to-day operation, as well as leaving no stone unturned to improve our Website and App journey, right through to our doorstep experience for our customers.
Let's find out about you
* A design related postgraduate qualification (or equivalent)
* Demonstrable knowledge of designing for web accessibility standards and evidence of producing web graphics across devices with a focus on mobile-first
* Proven ability to hand code HTML & CSS and use Photoshop and Illustrator
* Some UX knowledge and experience of designing and building fully responsive landing pages
* Evidence of using a Content Management System (CMS)
* Knowledge of SEO best practices
* Ability to take ownership and lead on projects
* Be the first point of contact for stakeholders with day-to-day queries
* Manage regular site checks to ensure all activity has the right customer journey
* Ensure autopsy and analysis of activity and carry forward learnings
