This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Housing Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £26,421 - £28,770 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team who has the necessary skills, experience and commitment to support the wider management team by scheduling resources and work to ensure surveying, repairs and planned works are completed to improve operational performance and reduce un-necessary travelling, resulting in improved business efficiency.
You will manage and oversee diaries via the dynamic scheduling system to schedule available work for the most efficient deployment, to meet customer needs and ensure operatives and Surveyors are continually employed.
You will proactively plan future workloads, taking account of availability in the wider context of Housing Repairs Operations and Planned Asset Maintenance Strategy functions. As such, you will have good planning and organisational skills necessary for controlling the efficient and effective deployment and movement of the day-to-day trade workforce.
For the role, we ask that you have:
A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
Knowledge of relevant Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work and Health and Safety issues relating to the post.
Computer literate and able to input and access information within a database and spreadsheet packages.
