To manage and supervise a small team ensuring that all product provided for airworthiness release in accordance with the applicable regulation and AS9100 Standard to the customer, these products are processed in support of the Regional Distribution Centre and assembly departments to meet the customer needs. Responsibilities Ensuring all part are in accordance with all aspects of the approved design data; Ensuring the smooth flow of parts through Direct Ship to support the business targets; Managing team 30% and Certifying 70% Identifying any part not in accordance with the engineering data and raise within the non conforming material system; Working with Engineering, procurement, Quality Engineering as required to address any Customer certification request Working with the picking, packing and shipping to ensure the parts and certification documentation are in accordance with the regulations and AS9100 standard Working with the Customer services representative as required to address any Customer certification request Previous Experience required: Previous experience in Aerospace and /or Quality is essential Supervisory experience Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Highly Desirable: Competence to UK CAA Part 21 G Regulations Competence to Release under AS9100 certificate of Conformity Competence to FAA 8130-3 (Training provided if applicable Awareness of DOA POA Agreement and all associated document Awareness of Quality Management system and all applicable procedure/WI/Forms Competence in the identification of non-Conformity material/product Competence to read and understand 2D drawing Competence to read and understand 3D drawing Use of Teamcentre and the inspection function for all product types Diversity drives innovation; inclusion drives success.
