Day-to-day of the role: Collaborate with project leads and technical teams to gather necessary information and insights for bid preparation. Write, edit, and proofread bid proposals to ensure they are comprehensive and compelling. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our services and the needs of our clients to tailor bids effectively. Manage multiple bid proposals simultaneously, ensuring timely submission and adherence to guidelines. Utilize creative and critical thinking to construct narratives that clearly convey our strengths and differentiators in the market. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Bid Writer, preferably in the construction or related sector. Strong ability to translate technical information into engaging and persuasive text. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Strong organisational and communication skills. Experience in planned maintenance and social housing projects is highly desirable.
