Plant Maintenance Engineers work on a number of sites throughout NI. This is a new role as they bring some of these operations into the home and help improve operations, which in turn means you are a pivotal part of their growth plans. The operations team are highly supportive and engaging and together the ethos is 'get things done' effectively and efficiently with a great focus on improvement. You will be given a remit to make the best decisions for the plant in this role.
Your new role
This is an absolutely integral part of the team, and you are pivotal to success. This is a new position where you can shape the role. The idea is that you'll deliver the following, but you can have input on that
+Implement a new PM system for all plant and equipment
+Ensure all plant and equipment are safe and compliance for use is upheld and available
+Be 'audit ready' with all compliance and service records at all times and assist with audits
+Lead contractors that visit the site and oversee their work
+Hands on replacement and repair of bearings, rollers, drums, gearboxes, pumps, rams, trommels
+Complete safety visual assessments
+Report on operations on spending, availability and issues affecting the plant
+Other duties as the role evolves
What you'll need to succeed
You've evolved a new role and made it your own, so you'll need to thrive working alone yet be able to report on issues and data related to maintenance. The role comes with a van, so a licence is required. Experience in plant and equipment maintenance and repair is essential. You need multi-skilled maintenance and fabrication experience for the role and the ability to record data records online.
