Job summary CAMHS Child & Family Support Worker (Band 4) An exciting opportunity has become available to join our new Intensive Treatment Team (ITT). Due to investment from the Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group, we are expanding our urgent and emergency offer for children and young people with mental health difficulties in Somerset. The Intensive Treatment Team will work alongside our established Enhanced Outreach Team, offering intensive treatment to children and young people across the Somerset county. Interventions and support will be delivered across a 7 day working week, 8am to 8pm. Main duties of the job Our Intensive Treatment Team in Somerset would like to welcome a Child and Family Support Worker to join our team. This role will suit someone who understands the challenges of working with young people and have the resilience to be able to support the management of a wide range of mental health issues and associated clinical risks. The role will require creative thinking, working towards the goals a young person and their family set and supporting the reduction of self injury.
