Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, incorporating a wide range of musical genres and styles. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to maximize their musical potential. Collaborate with colleagues within the music department and across the school to enrich the overall learning experience. Contribute to the school's vibrant musical culture by participating in extracurricular activities such as concerts, ensembles, and productions. Stay up-to-date with the latest pedagogical approaches and developments in music education. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching music to secondary school students, ideally across all Key Stages. A strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices. Proficiency in at least one musical instrument, with the ability to teach both instrumental and vocal skills.
