SALARY: £31,151-32,790 (+£12,000 Shift Allowance)
LOCATION(S): Peterborough AND Corby
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: 100% onsite (no agile working options)

The day in the life of a data centre shift operator could be but is not limited to.
1. Site Management and access control
2. Incident, Problem & Change Management
3. Hardware support
4. Vendor Relationship Management
5. Structured Cabling
6. Inventory / Asset Management
7. IT Equipment & Tape / Disk disposal
8. Media Management
This position is site based and within the Data Centre Operations South Team covering both Peterborough and Corby Data Centres. This right person will become part of the team delivering all aspects of Data Centre Management across the two campuses. This would involve working as part of a shift team covering 12-hour shifts on days and nights, 24 x 7, 365 days a year.

What you’ll need
Crucially, you’re a team player. You’ll need to be able to put yourself in the customer’s shoes and work together with your colleagues to deliver for them – and you’ll do everything to go above and beyond.
9. Applications from an IT, Data Centre or Service Delivery background will be preferred
10. IT literate and able to utilise a range of applications including Microsoft Office 365.
11. Proven ability to provide excellent Customer Service with strong written and verbal communication skills
12. Analytical and practical
13. You need to hold a UK Driving License with access to a vehicle (essential)
