Overview
Wincanton are looking for a System Support Analyst to join our Business Process and Systems Team, within our Finance division.
This role is responsible for the triage and monitoring of technical support incidents. You will ensure that support tickets are correctly logged via the appropriate means and in adequate detail, carry out administrative tasks to assist where possible and escalate for further support if required.
You will be responsible for ensuring constant attention is maintained on all support tickets and that a resolution is found as quickly as is possible and that any tickets on hold are for valid reasons.
Salary £24,000 - £28,000 p.a depending on experience.
This is a Monday to Friday role with three days on site at the Chippenham office and the remaining days working from home.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
How will you contribute?
* Perform initial triage on support incidents assigned to resolver group for completeness and content and accept or reassign to the appropriate support area.
* Ensure that customers (users / colleagues) have exhausted appropriate self-help mechanisms before escalating any support request.
* Support the Problem Management process and collaborate with appropriate SMEs as required.
* Manage administrative processes ensuring compliance on auditable processes.
* Understand automated and manual processes within Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (to be trained).
What will you bring?
* Experience of working in an office environment (within finance would be an advantage).
* Good general MS office skills.
* Ability to learn new systems (we use Service-Now, Microsoft office, Oracle Fusion but all can be trained).
* Able to deliver a high standard of customer service to internal customers.
* High degrees of initiative, accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.
* Able to work at pace and be pragmatic.
* Ability to take a logical and practical approach.
* Concern for deadline and quality requirements.
* Ability to multitask, work to deadlines, prioritise under pressure.
