Key Account Manager - Offshore Personnel

A dedicated branch of AVENTA is specialized in the delivery of technical services to specific Clients, mainly Developers and TSOs within the Marine Energy Industry.
Position Overview
The Offshore Personnel Services Manager will lead and oversee AVENTA’s operations and team for the services and contracts related to the provision of Offshore Personnel.
AVENTA provides those Services to a number of key Clients across the Marine Energy Industry. This role involves developing and implementing strategic commercial initiatives, managing tenders and contractual negotiations, ensuring project delivery and planning, and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders throughout the duration of each project.
The Offshore Personnel Manager will work closely with the Consulting BU’s management and the executive team to align the delivery of these services with the company's overall vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic and Commercial Leadership:
•Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Offshore Personnel Services activities, aligned with AVENTA's mission and objectives.
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Marine Energy sector to expand the portfolio of projects and Clients internationally.
•Identify and execute preparation of Tenders for the provision of Offshore Personnel.
•Implement local branches internationally, following the Strategy and vision of AVENTA
2. Client Relationship Management:
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality services.
•Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively throughout all of project’s life cycle.
3. Operational Management:
•Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Offshore Personnel projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Ensure quality and follow-up of services in compliance with Client’s requirements and standards. This includes participation in weekly meetings, follow-up of Vessel’s schedules and
•Manage internal Consulting and Recruitment team dedicated to Offshore Personnel support.
•Liaise as much as needed with the Talent Acquisition Team to support the sourcing and be able to staff Projects in a timely manner
•Manage and oversee activities of internal Logistics and support team to ensure mobilisations / demobilisations of Personnel are conducted efficiently and upon Client’s requirements.
4. Business Development:
•Conduct business development efforts, including identifying market trends, competitor analysis, and client needs with a strong focus on Offshore Client Representation and Offshore Personnel provision within AVENTA’s core activities.
•Develop proposals, presentations, and contracts to secure new business on these activities.
•Represent AVENTA at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
5. Financial Management:
•Develop and manage the budget for the Offshore Personnel provision contracts, ensuring financial targets are met.
•Monitor and report on financial performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
•Optimize resource allocation and recruitment to maximize profitability and efficiency.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
•Work collaboratively with other Business Units, such as Engineering, and Marine Operations, to ensure cohesive service delivery and ensure cross-selling whenever possible.
•Communicate effectively with the executive team, providing regular updates on project status, planning, business development, and strategic initiatives.
•Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration, with an experience in the energy sector (oil and gas, renewables.
•Minimum of 8 years of experience in consulting within the Offshore Energy sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
•Proven track record of successful business growth in the Consulting industry.
• Fluent in English. French or Italian is a plus
•Strong understanding of Offshore and EPCI projects and operations, from Surveys to Installation and Commissioning.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
•Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
•Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
•Willingness to travel as needed.
