Hours: Part-time (rotational shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins)

**About the Role**
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate part-time Residential Support Workers to join our team in Children's Homes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Support and safeguard children and young people in residential care, helping them to develop, build self-esteem, and contribute positively to their families and society.
* Act as a key worker, managing care plans, conducting risk assessments, and supporting emotional, physical, and educational needs.
* Foster strong relationships with children through daily routines, joint activities, and positive behaviour management.
* Assist with personal care tasks for children with disabilities or complex needs, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding.
* Collaborate with families, professionals, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure all care provided complies with health, safety, and confidentiality standards.
**Requirements:**
* Essential Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent), or willingness to complete this qualification within 2 years.
* Recent experience working with children or vulnerable adults in a paid or voluntary capacity, especially those with emotional or behavioural challenges.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children, young people, and a range of professionals.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour using restorative approaches and de-escalation techniques.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
