An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional home based in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area.
You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers. This special service specialises in a range of care services, including: residential care, respite care, dementia care, and convalescence care.
To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
As a Support Worker, your key duties include:
1. Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents.
2. Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship.
3. Encourage independence, well-being and support vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities.
4. Ensure accurate record keeping at all times.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
1. Have a genuine desire to care for others.
2. A good team player.
3. In a remote location so a Driving Licence is desirable; however, transport can be provided.
The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.00 per hour, with an annual salary of £22,464 per annum.
