Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Commercial Account Handler to join our Client Servicing team.
The successful candidate will assist the Account Director and Client Service Director in managing an existing and expanding client portfolio, delivering cross-sell opportunities, and maintaining compliance with FCA regulations.
This role involves providing quality advice, guidance, and excellent service to all clients. The ideal candidate will ensure an accurate, efficient, and professional service is provided to clients and insurers.
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Ensure awareness and compliance with best practice guides, conduct rules, security protocols and the employee handbook.
▪ Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all clients, providing expert product advice and guidance.
▪ Handle daily and complex client queries effectively.
▪ Support commercial renewals in line with the sales process, including issuing market submissions,
obtaining quotations, preparing quotation documents, and confirmation of cover reports.
▪ Prepare for and attend client meetings (where necessary), executing follow-up actions as needed.
▪ Perform data analysis to support risk management propositions.
▪ Manage aged debt
▪ Check policy documents for accuracy and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
▪ Cert CII qualified.
▪ At least 2 years of commercial experience within broking.
▪ Proficient in using Acturis.
▪ Strong commercial awareness and a positive attitude towards learning new skills.
▪ Great understanding of Excel, Word, and presentation skills.
