Internal Sales Engineer
The Role:
This is a brand-new growth opportunity to join a global leader in the heat tracing field. This hybrid role will require you in the Washington office 3 days per week with the other two working remotely, focusing on building relationships with Electrical Contractors who are looking for heat tracing solutions specifically for data centre environments. Your primary role will be to take the RFQ's from the Contractors, which have been instigated by your field colleagues in the specification team, from initial request through to purchase order. This process will involve interpreting specifications, working with internal Design Engineers to quote accurately, put tenders together, and sell those solutions to give you the best chance of landing the projects with the Contractors.
Once this is done, you will then hand that project over to the executions team who will complete the project on the ground. You can expect to be handling between 3-5 new RFQ's per week alongside your own outbound activity to your Contractor base to continue building relationships with them on an ongoing basis. This role is perfect for those technical sales professionals who want to be in the thick of the specification & contractor process without the excess national & international travel!
Requirements:
To be considered for the Internal Sales Engineer role, you'll need:
* Experience in mechanical or electrical sales, preferably in building services solutions.
* Previous exposure to working with M&E Consultants and Contractors in this sector.
* Ability to utilise phone and video outreach to build customer contact.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to drive new business and manage key accounts.
* A proactive, self-motivated attitude, with a passion for innovation in the heat tracing field.

The Package for Internal Sales Engineer:
* Between £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary DOE
* 25% OTE (can be doubled on overachievement of targets)
* 25 days holiday
