Your role and responsibilities deliver communications for a range of projects across Suffolk in response to the declaration of a climate emergency and target to achieve net zero emissions by 2030 support the Climate Emergency Communications and Engagement Officer with the delivery of a county-wide behaviour change campaign lead on delivery of the five-year communications strategy that will increase public awareness of the Suffolk Climate Emergency Plan (SCEP) You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, be highly organised, able to prioritise work and be self-motivated. Our ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of climate change, biodiversity or sustainability communication experience in delivering campaigns and communications designed to encourage action at a county/regional scale.
