Cemetery Team Leader
Location: Northampton
Hourly rate: £13.00
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About the role
As part of our small, dedicated team in Northampton, you will assist the Cemetery Manager in managing the team of operatives as well as assisting with a range of tasks when required, including the preparation, excavation and backfilling of graves and general maintenance of a number of cemetery grounds in the Northampton area. It will be key that they remain tidy, well-kept and respectful for visitors and loved ones.
Requirements
1. Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
2. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
3. Previous grave digging experience.
4. Previous experience of using dumper trucks up to 3.5 tonnes & 360 excavators up to 5 tonnes.
5. Willingness to learn and work well in a team.
6. COTS - Cemetery Operatives Training Scheme qualifications would be preferred.
7. Full UK Driving license is essential.
