Responsible for ensuring hotel guest satisfaction by providing extraordinary customer service at the Front Desk in an extremely professional manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensures guest satisfaction and revenue optimization through check in, check out and attentive coordination of hotel services for the guest.
2. Registers guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner; prepares for group check in and out and VIP arrivals; stays informed of events and functions in the hotel during the assigned shift.
3. Checks guests out of the hotel; processes customer payments according to established policies and procedures.
4. Responds to guests’ requests promptly; promotes hotel services, facilities and outlets; provides guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase satisfaction.
5. Resolves minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer; informs supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances or unhappy guests.
6. Books guest reservations or coordinates with VIP Services.
7. Handles departmental accounting of monies, receipts, guest accounts and other forms of credit; posts all charges; completes cashier's report, prepares deposit and counts cashier bank.
8. Provides exceptional customer service.
9. Work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
10. Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
11. Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
12. Complies with the company’s recycling program standards.

1. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
2. Must possess good communication skills.
3. Must have computer experience.
4. Must be outgoing, friendly, helpful personality, and a positive attitude.
5. Must be able to work independently.
6. Must be reliable and have initiative.
7. Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.
8. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed.
9. Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
10. Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire.
11. Must be able to speak, read and write English.
