A long established firm of Chartered Accountants in Newcastle wish to appoint more resource to their payroll department with the addition of a Payroll Senior, Assistant or Manager to compliment their existing team. There is capacity for two new recruits.
With existing expertise at Assistant, Senior and Manager level there is flexibility to appoint at any of these levels, they work very much as a team and are looking for an individual who is less motivated by title and more interested in the quality of the role and the team they will be part of.
Operating a bureau service facility, you will be responsible for:
* a portfolio of weekly and monthly payrolls for various clients ranging from small to medium, liaising with clients to gather information.
* Checking own inputs and reviewing payrolls prepared by others in the team.
* Filing payroll data with HMRC.
* Processing all elements of payroll, including court orders and student loans for clients’ employees.
* Processing auto enrolment pension deductions, issuing enrolment letters to employees for clients.
* Answering all queries relating to clients’ payroll in a timely and professional manner.
* Ensuring data accuracy and quality of output is of the very highest standard.
