About the Position
As a senior laboratory-based molecular biologist, you will play a key role in developing and deploying cutting-edge methods for detecting cancer earlier than traditional methods at the Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London. Your experience in next-generation sequencing assays, clinical diagnostic assays, and bioinformatic analysis would be highly valuable in this position.
You will be part of a dynamic team working on pioneering research projects focused on minimally-invasive molecular diagnostics and analysis of cancer genomes. Our goal is to improve existing methods for sensitive mutation detection and explore the biophysical properties of ctDNA.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive innovative solutions and advancements in cancer genomics and diagnostics, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of experts. You will also enjoy competitive salaries (£45,000 - £50,000 per annum) and access to a generous pension scheme.
This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 30 days' leave per annum (pro-rata for part-time/fixed-term), flexible working arrangements, and campus facilities.
