Electrical Site Services Engineer
Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours)

Cranswick Convenience Foods is one of the largest cooked meats operators in the UK supplying high quality premium and standard cooked meat products to leading high street retailers.
What are we looking for?
Your role will be to maintain the plant and equipment to meet the site operational needs whilst keeping the plant and equipment in safe working order. You will work within the site service department, assisting with all electrical installation and maintenance work to assist with mechanical and project duties to facilitate the necessary works required by site. You will complete inspection and testing of main electrical supplies to carry out routine electrical testing and inspections. (this role is for an Electrician, not a Multi Skilled Engineer)
What will you be doing?
* Reactive and proactive maintenance of site machinery, equipment and systems.
* Work within the panel replacement program around site, removal and replacement of electrical equipment and update electrical drawings accordingly.
* Knowledge and experience of installation works.
* Daily completion of the Engineering work log.
* Ensure work orders are completed within the required time scale.
* Carrying out PPM work in accordance to the monthly schedule.
* Maintaining high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice. Ensuring the Engineering Workshop and areas of work are maintained to a high level of housekeeping.
* Effective and efficient use of resources, including spare parts, consumables, and equipment. Sourcing part numbers and communicating parts / materials required in a time efficient manner to the relevant person.
* Assisting site contractors where necessary.
* Assisting in Accident Investigations where technical knowledge of equipment and or processes is required.
* Utilisation of the Shire PPM system with regard to entering data.
* Maintaining good inter-departmental relationships.
* Attending training and development courses in order to competently work with all equipment, machines and systems on site.
* Site Fire Marshal Duties
Who do we need from you?
* GCSE’s or equivalent
* Fully qualified Engineer with nationally recognised certification
* Level 2 Food Hygiene and H&S Awareness
* Fire Marshall Certificate
* FLT License
