We are looking for a Senior Finance Product and Service Manager who will identify and lead strategic and departmental wide change impacts across Finance & Assurance Services (FAS). Enabling FAS to be at the heart of decision making, supporting the business to make the right choices. Facilitating and championing the links between the Agency’s business planning and change management. The Senior Finance Products and Service Manager will support a wide variety of projects implementing change initiatives, assessing the finance impacts through discussion with FAS subject matter experts and will provide visibility to FAS Directorate on DVLA projects impacting Finance.
This role provides a bridge between the change activity and business users to ensure that the impact of changes are fully understood and that plans are put in place to support people through a transition to new ways of working. You will work with business areas/projects to implement change smoothly for FAS.
The focus of the role is to proactively prepare FAS directorate for the impact of changes being delivered by any given project. You will apply a structured methodology, to identify scale and scope of the change and impacted groups across FAS.
Presently, this role does not involve line management responsibilities, however this could change in the future.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
* Proactively lead on business change activity working collaboratively with stakeholders to support effective delivery of change.
* Manage effective stakeholder relationships across FAS and the wider Agency to proactively identify changes impacting FAS and improvement opportunities.
* Work with FAS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop understanding of business as usual, thinking strategically, identifying opportunities and understanding policy and process interrelationships.
* Promote one virtual team.
* Manage and develop a suite of products in support of systematic strategic change and Finance wide change, holding regular impact assessment panels and stakeholder engagements from change inception through to delivery.
* Facilitate FAS SME engagement in change initiatives with the business, using visuals and stand ups to communicate regular updates across FAS.
