Major Account Director – Service Provider, Telco, MVNO, Cloud, Core Network, UK
My client is an established Network & Cloud vendor who are investing in their European operations due to market opportunities as such want to onboard a Major Account Director to be based in the UK. This person will have extensive experience in building a value within the SP space.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for driving new revenue opportunities across the UK.
* Engage with prospects and clients, building pipeline across a range of opportunities, managing multiple complex sales processes
* Forecasting accurately and ultimately closing new customers
* Articulate value of the Cloud solutions in comparison to competitive products
* Assume responsibility for overall territory and go to market plan
* Managing the designated territory as a business; incorporating customers, prospects, customer relationship managers, business development, marketing & partners.
* Build deeper, more strategic, and sustainable relationships with existing customers.
Requirements
* Minimum 10 years solutions-based sales experience within Service Provider space
* Extensive experience of solutions-based sales experience with a track record of exceeding sales target
* Proven history of success managing and negotiating large deals
* Strong understanding of Fixed & Mobile Networks, Analytics, Customer Experience etc including Policy management
* Preference for deep existing relationships within Tier 1 Mobile and Fixed Operators – especially Vodafone/3 across the UK
* Strong ability to articulate complex value propositions to customers, including executive leaders
* Entrepreneurial mindset
