Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking three Procurement Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be part of the Defence division, focusing on military, air, and information systems projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing procurement processes for defence-related projects
Working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Negotiating contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions
Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues that may arise
Liaising with internal teams to understand project requirements and timelines
Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and documentation
Supporting risk management by identifying and mitigating potential supply chain risks
Adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements:
Experience in procurement within the defence or security sectors
Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management
Ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
