Head of Acute Care Strategy (Deputy Director)
Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Head of Acute Care Strategy. This position plays a crucial leadership role within a dynamic project team tasked with developing and delivering a successful program of work in strategic focus areas to support the Acute Care Strategy.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Lead and support the Acute Care Strategy development program with senior leadership.
2. Manage the production of submissions and business cases to Government and other key stakeholders.
3. Maintain a detailed overview of the Acute Care Strategy project, coordinate workstreams, manage interdependencies, and ensure realization of projected benefits.
4. Report progress to the Acute Care Strategy Project Director and project leadership groups as required.
5. Develop and manage relationships with senior personnel from Government, NHS, University, charity, and commercial partners.
6. Identify risks and issues, operating as a skilled negotiator to drive progress towards delivery.
