Job Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Audiologist seeking a new challenge to provide Audiology services within the Moray region. The post-holder will be based in Elgin but shall also participate in peripheral clinics throughout the region.
The department has a friendly and highly committed team with a wide range of responsibilities covering the entirety of Audiology for adults and children throughout the Moray region. Clinical services include adult and paediatric assessment and rehabilitation, as well as tinnitus management.
The successful applicant will be expected to deliver effective care and would also have scope to develop their clinical skills in areas of particular interest. The post will have a strong emphasis on adult-based care, although there would be scope for participation in paediatric services.
Minimum Requirements
1. 2-years clinical experience is essential for the post.
2. Experience in tinnitus and paediatric practices is desirable but not essential.
3. The preferred applicant must hold a BSc in Audiology or equivalent.
4. AHCS registration is preferred.
5. Applications from Audiologists with less experience will be considered under Annex 21 Agenda for Change, with the aim of delivering comprehensive training to develop sub-specialty skills and progress to full band 6 within 1 year.
