My client, a Food Manufacturer based in Bradford, is looking for an Engineering and Maintenance Manager. This is a full-time position working 45 hours a week. Some travel to other sites may be required, and so a driving licence is essential.
Role Overview
Drive the performance of the engineering department to maximise production output and minimise overall business costs, whilst maintaining and improving legislative compliance, quality / food safety standards, health and safety standards, HR standards, and business sustainability.
Act as a hands-on leader, technical expert, and coach across all aspects of engineering and maintenance. Responsible for 2 direct reports.

Required Experience and Qualifications
1. Food manufacturing experience, ideally in a BRCGS-certified environment.
2. Minimum BTEC / NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent.
3. IEE Regulations 18th Edition certified (will accept 17th edition if willing to undertake 18th edition).
4. Supervisory experience or able to demonstrate natural leadership ability.
5. Ideally knowledge and experience of PLCs and control systems.
6. Ideally Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent.
7. Ideally NEBOSH qualified.
