Are you a seasoned HR professional with a strong understanding of HR policies, systems, and best practices?
ASA is looking for an experienced HR Generalist/Manager/Consultant to work alongside our public sector client on an initial 3-month contract. The role will offer hybrid working with the office based in Central Edinburgh.
In this role, you will provide senior-level HR support, including management assistance, recruitment, HR policy updates, equality impact assessments, appraisal and induction enhancements, HR system implementation, and training module design and updates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Senior management support across HR functions.
2. Recruitment, selection, and onboarding process improvements.
3. HR project work including:
1. Updating HR policies and conducting Equality Impact Assessments.
2. Reviewing and enhancing the appraisal scheme and induction process.
3. Supporting the implementation of the HR Oracle System.
4. Updating and designing training modules within the LearnPro system.
Key Requirements:
1. Degree-level qualification and/or equivalent experience.
2. CIPD qualified or actively working towards certification.
3. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
4. Experience writing and updating HR policies.
5. Proven ability to conduct Equality Impact Assessments.
6. Expertise in managing and rolling out HR systems, including staff training.
7. Experience with LearnPro HR system.
8. Familiarity with the HR Oracle system desirable.
9. Security Requirements: Basic Disclosure check and self-declaration mandate required.
