About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Art & Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital media. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage experimentation, critical thinking, and the development of individual artistic styles, while also exploring historical and contemporary art movements. Assess student progress through project work, sketchbooks, portfolios, and presentations, providing detailed and constructive feedback to guide their artistic development. Contribute to extracurricular art clubs, workshops, or exhibitions to further students' engagement with the subject. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art & Design or a closely related field. A strong understanding of art principles, techniques, art history, and contemporary art practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and practical skills, with proficiency in a range of art media and techniques. A passion for art and design and the ability to inspire students' creativity and critical thinking about visual culture.
