Junior Product Manager
* Annual Salary: £40,000

Our client is a luxury homewares brand and is currently looking for a Junior Product Manager to join their Product and Compliance Team. This role is crucial for ensuring our products meet end-user needs and embody the company’s vision.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Commercial Knowledge:
o Gain an understanding of products within specified ranges and their market positioning, including competitor offerings.
o Manage sales numbers, focusing on profitability by product type/channel.
* New Product Development:
o Lead the development and market introduction of new products that align with company and brand/channel strategies.
o Engage with customers, conduct user research, and integrate feedback into product development.
o Develop business cases for new products, including sales forecasts and 3-year P&L models.
* Lifecycle Management:
o Oversee products throughout their lifecycle, analysing sales trends, product/channel mix, and stockholding.
o Monitor market and competitor activity to make informed product decisions and contribute to future roadmaps.
* Compliance:
o Collaborate with technical, quality, and compliance managers to ensure product suitability and compliance across markets.
* Sales & Marketing Support:
o Act as the product expert, ensuring our value proposition is effectively communicated in the market with appropriate content and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 2 years’ experience in a product management function or commercially-focused roles within sales/marketing.
* Proven track record in full product lifecycle management, including handling commercials/P&L.
* Ability to derive actionable insights using data and customer feedback to inform decision-making processes.
* Excellent communication skills and proficiency in working within cross-functional teams.
* Creative thinking skills with the ability to articulate value propositions in an engaging, innovative way.
* Interest in design/interiors is beneficial but not essential.
