An exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant has arisen to join my client in their small Finance function. The role is a fixed term contract, for a period of circa nine months. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, and must be available for a quick start date. Client Details My client is an established organisation with a close-knit Finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this firm prides itself on delivering top-notch services to its wide range of customers. Description As the Accounts Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include: Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records Ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded Responding to invoice queries Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required Assisting with month-end and financial planning processes Participating in processing staff expenses Reviewing aged debtor reports Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations Assisting with financial data entry tasks Ad-hoc support to the Finance team in Lewes Profile A successful Accounts Assistant should have: Proficiency in financial software programs Experience working in a similar role - Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper etc. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles Strong numerical skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Job Offer If you are successful you should expect: Competitive Salary between £28,000 - £30,000 Opportunity to work in a small Finance Team Quick start date
