When you join us as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders - patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
You Will:
1. Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
2. Assure proper dose of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.
3. Start intravenous lines or perform straight stick venipuncture for isotope injection.
4. Administer radionuclide in a safe and effective manner.
5. Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through a sometimes difficult process by gently talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
6. Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
7. Maintain a nuclear medicine information system for all patient dosing, calibration, receiving and disposition, and all regulatory reports required by the RAM license.
8. Under the direction of the radiologist, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:
1. Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required.
2. Experience working in a high-volume setting.
3. A high school diploma or GED.
4. BLS/CPR certification.
