Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paediatric Staff Nurse to work as part of our team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. We require an enthusiastic Registered Children`s Nurse to work within our dedicated, well established teams. In this post the successful applicant will be working as part of the Paediatric Unit Team and will work within, Children's Assessment unit, Children's Ward, Adolescent ward, High Dependency Unit and Paediatric day surgery. This will allow the post holder to gain experience nursing children with a wide range of conditions including Oncology patients as where we are a Level 1 POSCU. We have a designated HDU bay where we care for children with deteriorating conditions providing High dependency care. We also have a children's assessment unit and adolescent unit which will allow the successful candidate a wide range of experience.
