Data Operations Lead for a new large-scale National Healthcare IT System
Roles & Responsibilities as Data Operations Lead
1. Report to the Operations Manager, be responsible for data operations of a new national data repository
2. Accountable for the fulfilment of the system’s roles and responsibilities as one of the HealthierSG data single source of truth
3. Publish and enforce data definitions for established data subjects
4. Establish data contributor and data consumer onboarding processes with compliance to data governance policy, conduct onboarding with thorough quality assurance controls
5. Plan and prioritise onboarding requests, track and report contributor & consumer onboarding status
6. Ensure data availability to data consumers, and provide timely communications in cases of disruptions
7. Respond to enquiries on data quality and inform the relevant data contributor promptly
8. Receive and apply corrections provided by data contributors
9. Identify and establish measures on an ongoing basis to proactively detect data quality issues and follow up with the respective data contributors for timely data corrections, as well as implementation of preventive measures
10. Provide regular reporting of data quality issues to internal and external stakeholders, data owner, and track all data quality issues till closure
11. Ensure compliance to both internal and external SLAs
12. Manage team’s support schedule to ensure full coverage of data operation services, as well as coaching team members to deliver consistent support service quality
13. Provide strong leadership for matters relating to operations support, processes, and guidelines to achieve service excellence
14. Advise improvements and assist in the development of measurable information and SOP / knowledge base / dashboards to assure continued effectiveness of system operations
Specific Requirement/Skillsets
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, or related discipline
* Minimum 8 years hands-on experience in large scale IT application operations, preferably in the area of data operation
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
* Possesses good verbal and written communication across all levels of personnel with proven ability to translate complex, technical subjects into clear and concise communications to a variety of key stakeholders
* Pro-active, independent, and able to react quickly and resolve issues promptly
* Experience in Healthcare domain is an added advantage
