The successful individual will work with the Principal to maintain an effective safeguarding culture across the school. The successful candidate will be taking the lead responsibility for all safeguarding and child protection matters arising at the school and will support all other staff in dealing with any child protection concerns that arise. You're someone who has: The ability to oversee the school's safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date and compliant with relevant legislation; Able to act as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns and liaise with external agencies, as needed; Confidence to organise and provide safeguarding training and support to all colleagues, ensuring they are well-informed and equipped to protect our students; The ability to maintain detailed records of safeguarding concerns and actions taken.
