The role As the Marketing & BD Manager for the Austen Hays collective actions business, you will be ultimately responsible for managing the delivery of a best in class marketing campaign plan through an outsourced external agency who will be engaged to acquire clients for every new class action case. The Marketing & BD Manager position is a strategic marketing role which will require an understanding of online and offline campaign building and delivery alongside experience of working within an agency environment. Responsibilities include: • Coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns working with the outsourced marketing agency to ensure that marketing campaigns for each class action project are executed effectively and efficiently from start to finish. • Monitoring spend with the external marketing agency against any agreed budgets. • Manage the marketing relationship between Austen Hayes and Comnexa/ SalesForce. • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics for monthly reporting to the Austen Hayes management board around the effectiveness of the campaign delivery. • Liaise between the agency and the Austen Hayes fee earners to ensure that tasks such as content creation are effectively briefed and prioritised to ensure the most effective outcome. • Liaison with internal stakeholders to develop content strategy for the Austen Hayes corporate website as managed by the Gateley Plc marketing team, including working with the team to build campaign pages which mirror the content being used for each class action campaign by the external agency on their marketing channels. • Liaison with the external agency and internal resource in relation to the sharing of social media posts on the Austen Hayes corporate account. The team With 60 people within our Marketing and Front of House teams, we support on all aspects of marketing and business development across Gateley including internal and external communications, bids and sales, client development, events, digital and marketing projects. We would be looking for someone who is comfortable with balancing a hybrid role with 2-3 days in our Gateley hub offices: Manchester, Nottingham, London, Birmingham, or Leeds. As a team we innovate, collaborate, and optimise by coming together in our Birmingham headquarters so, if your office base is not Birmingham, you must be comfortable travelling to HQ on a weekly basis. We have a fantastic internal travel booking team and any travel to offices, other than your base office, is fully funded by the business. We continue to develop and evolve our proposition and are looking for individuals with a 'can do' mentality to join the team. The person • 4 -8 years B2B and B2C marketing experience – particularly in regard to inbound marketing. • Experienced in managing external marketing agencies • Excellent written and communication skills • Have a ‘can do’ attitude, can prioritise well and influence accordingly • Strong business and commercial acumen • Can work well under pressure • A good understanding of marketing and digital campaigns.
