The ideal candidate will be a self motivated and well-organized individual who has an excellent understanding of Sales and Business Development within the Freight and Logistics industry.
My client, a well known and respected name within the Freight industry have an excellent reputation for staff retention. They are now looking for a results driven and experienced Sales Manager to come in and drive growth with a view to developing a sales team across the UK.
You will be working with an established and award winning team that have a reputation of providing the best service in the industry.
Responsibilities
* Identifying and sourcing new leads within Air, Sea and Road Freight modes of transport
* Actively selling either Air, Sea, or Road Freight Solutions, selling Imports and Exports as well as Customs Brokerage services
* Quoting and winning new business to achieve agreed annual targets
* Developing relationships with customers, on boarding, and working with Operations team to ensure successful service within agreed SOPs, meeting customers expectations
* Working collaboratively with Operational and Product teams
* Training and mentoring new staff, helping get new business wins over the line
About you
* Demonstrable experience in a hunter sales role with a focus on New Business Development
* Experience with building pipelines and developing relationships with key stakeholders
* Strong commercial focus and business acumen
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
* Focused and goal-oriented

* Salary £60,000 - £75,000 (dependent on experience)
