We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to oversee our clients manufacturing operations in St Helens, which houses various manufacturing cells specialising in an array of different timber products. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the timber sector, responsible for managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining quality standards. Our client is a market leader in the mouldings and timber products sector, supplying all major DIY retailers with an extensive portfolio of products. Duties - Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands, prioritising the workload to achieve optimum efficiencies. - Supervise factory staff and provide guidance and training when necessary - Monitor production output and quality control measures - Implement health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment - Manage inventory levels and order raw materials as needed - Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency Requirements Candidate requirements: - Proven experience in a timber manufacturing, production management role - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively - Excellent problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges promptly - Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment - Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is desirable Benefits Salary bracket: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.Mon-Fri day shift.Company pension.
