The Opportunity Join our team as an HGV Technician, responsible for maintaining and repairing TCR and associated vehicles to the highest standards. You'll ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines and the ISO 9001 framework, playing a vital role in our vehicle maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Repair HGV vehicles and plant as directed. Conduct inspections, diagnoses, and brake tests, reporting all defects before repairs. Complete job cards efficiently and update the Workshop Supervisor on progress and additional work needed. Manage VOR (Vehicle Off Road) parts and ensure accurate parts usage recording. Workshop Operations Label and store parts correctly, ensuring compliance with warranty and exchange unit requirements. Report defective tools to the Workshop Supervisor. Potentially work at other locations as required. Documentation & Communication Submit daily overtime sheets if applicable. Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including customers and subcontractors. What We Are Looking For Knowledge & Skills Motor Mechanics (LGV) proficiency, Level 3 City and Guilds certification or equivalent. Analytical skills and understanding of TCR procedures. Customer-focused with health and safety awareness. Experience & Qualifications Background in vehicle maintenance and customer-focused environments. Essential: LGV Level 3, HGV 2, Full driving licence. Desirable: Forklift, Plant, Hydraulics experience, HGV DIGI & Drivers CPC. Behavioural Capabilities Effective communication and teamwork.
