Service line: Assurance
The assurance team is committed to providing specialist advisory services such as Accounting Operations Advisory, Business Assurance (blockchain, emerging external reporting), complex accounting assurance, and disruptive events assurance.
About the role:
• Manage various client accounts from which we will derive revenue
• Lead on the delivery of project engagements for our clients.
• Support business development activities
• Establish an appropriate quality framework for our engagements and our work.
• Perform take-on checks for potential clients and maintain customer due diligence files
• Specialise in process and controls and technical accounting under frameworks including IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102.
About you:
• Technical experience across one or more of Accounting, Controls and Financial/Management Reporting;
• Understanding of business processes and internal controls (SOX experience is an added benefit)
• Experience in Data Analytics/Visualization (Tableau/Power BI) tools and translating Finance data into insights considered an asset
• Leading and project managing teams working on engagements and ensuring that key deliverables and client deadlines are met.
• Experience of having to look at issues from a broader perspective, managing diverse teams and deploying strategies to overcome them.
• Working within a large/complex organisation, interacting with teams and stakeholders outside of the immediate finance sphere
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
