As Veterinary Evidence & Content Manager, you will:
1. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, develop, and manage the Veterinary Evidence & Content team, ensuring high performance and professional growth throughout the employee lifecycle.
2. Veterinary Content Development: Create and maintain high-quality, evidence-based veterinary content for internal and external use, ensuring alignment with PDSA policies and strategic objectives.
3. Research & Evidence Analysis: Review, analyze, and interpret veterinary research and technical information to provide evidence-based insights that support policies, campaigns, and clinical services.
4. Data-Driven Insights & Reporting: Utilize internal and external data sources to generate insights that inform organizational policies, campaigns, and key reports such as the PAW Report.
5. Editorial & Content Accuracy: Oversee the editorial process for veterinary publications, including peer-reviewed journals and online resources, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.
6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal veterinary teams, universities, and external veterinary professionals to enhance the reach, relevance, and impact of veterinary content.
We’re seeking someone with:
1. Veterinary Qualification: Must be an MRCVS or RVN, with a strong background in veterinary science and clinical practice.
2. Expertise in Veterinary Content Creation: Proven experience in creating, managing, and delivering high-quality veterinary content for a range of audiences.
3. Evidence-Based Veterinary Medicine Knowledge: Strong understanding of clinical research and the ability to analyse and apply veterinary research findings to content and policy development.
4. Editorial & Communication Skills: Ability to manage editorial processes, ensuring veterinary content is clear, accurate, and aligned with the latest industry standards.
5. Data Analysis & Strategic Thinking: Experience in using internal and external data to generate insights that inform policies, reports, and public campaigns.
6. Digital & Online Education Experience (Desirable): Knowledge of digital content platforms, online veterinary education, and SEO best practices for content optimization.
