Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. This role is ideal for a proactive and solution orientated individual with a good eye for detail and passion for process improvement and team collaboration. Maintaining computerised administration, stock inventory and retrieval systems Inspecting and approving the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out. Communicating and interacting with clients, vendors, suppliers, and customers Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations Team Management: Oversee the Warehouse Team (4 direct reports), including workload coordination, 1:1s, staff development, and ongoing projects. Ensure a strong Health & Safety culture. Quality & Compliance: Manage the ISO9001 Quality Management System, ensuring it remains up to standard and leading annual audits. Oversee regulatory and compliance processes across the business (training provided if not from a medical background). Ensure suppliers meet regulatory requirements. Sustainability & Reporting: Lead the Carbon Reduction Plan, including annual reporting. Operational Support: Provide management reports to senior leadership and work closely with the Operations Manager, stepping in during their absence. Customer Service Leadership: Manage and support the Customer Service team (1 direct report), ensuring smooth operations. Project Work & Problem-Solving: Support ongoing projects with the Operations Manager, focusing on continuous improvement, staff development, and solution-based leadership. Ideal Candidate: Previous demonstratable leadership skills and experience. Strong communicator who can build relationships at all levels. Proven experience working within an SME directly managing a team. Proven experience maintaining an ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System. Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement. Working with CRM, ERP and WMS systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to self-motivate and plan own workload. Good attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
