YOUR ROLE
We are expanding our rail team. This newly created position offers you the chance to be a key player in a vibrant and growing area of our business. You'll support a range of duties to enhance the efficiency of our rail operations. Our rail function is a crucial part of our Government and defence contract, leading the way in rail transportation implementation. This is an exciting time to join and be part of a team that's going places!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monitoring and upkeep of records along with document control of all safety and non-safety related documents.
2. Produce Time and attendance reports.
3. Create Purchase Orders, ordering of PPE, dealing with all aspects in connection with Rail medicals.
4. Monitor Rail drive to ensure document control disciplines are followed.
5. Maintain register of due dates for competence examinations, medicals and audits etc.
6. Booking hotel accommodation.
7. Create and maintain department info, i.e. laptops, phones, IT equipment etc.
8. Responsible for maintaining Rail organisation chart.
9. Central Point for Management Information generation related to rail.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
1. Excellent levels of attention to detail.
2. A good working knowledge of Word & Excel and willingness to learn internal systems.
3. Ability to work as part of a team while also being able to work independently to meet deadlines.
4. A keen interest in rail would be advantageous.
