Neighbourhood Housing Officer - Tenancy Management

Full Time - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 35 hours per week
Temporary Role - 3 months with likely extension
£21.33 per hour PAYE / £27.75 per hour Umbrella (increasing to £28.60 from 13th week)
Hybrid Working Arrangement - 3 days in office / site visits in the borough of Ealing, remainder at home however flexibility is required

up to 28 days Paid Annual Leave per holiday year (increasing to up to 36 days per year after 12 weeks) - PAYE ROUTE ONLY
Adecco are recruiting for Housing Officers on behalf of our Public Sector client.
The successful candidate will have strong Tenancy Management experience, which includes managing a tenancy from beginning to end. The role involves serving legal notices to end tenancies, carrying out home visits, estate inspections, processing Successions, drafting cases to refer to legal, resident engagement, and working with multiple internal teams and external agencies to manage the estate.
This role is Hybrid working. Mondays and Thursdays are office days. A third day in the week is required for tenant visits. The remainder is home working.
Please note that due to the nature of the role, only candidates with previous experience in Tenancy Management will be considered.
Responsibilities include:
1. Deliver coordinated resident services as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
2. Maintain accurate and retrievable records of key actions and decisions.
3. Draft, plan and issue reports and correspondence on behalf of the service.
4. Deliver housing services across disciplines (i.e. rents, tenancy, leasehold).
5. Support and encourage resident involvement and active citizen activities in the local neighbourhoods.
6. Work with Tenancy Sustainment Officers to coordinate a multi-disciplinary approach to vulnerable residents.
7. Safeguard vulnerable residents in line with Council policies.
8. Liaise with other relevant services to deliver a holistic housing management service.
9. Deliver all activities and tasks with skill and diplomacy, upholding the Council's equalities and diversity policies.
10. Be responsible for working safely in accordance with the Council's procedures and policies.
