As they continue to grow, they are expanding into renewable energy infrastructure projects, including wind and solar farms. Their mission is to deliver cutting-edge solutions that power a sustainable future. As an independent connection provider (ICP), they will deliver a turnkey solution for renewable energy sites, including all civil, electrical primary, and grid works. Their services encompass the entire project lifecycle, from the initial design through to construction, commissioning, and the electrical balance of plant. The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive their expansion into the wind and solar farm sector. This is a pivotal role where you will identify and secure new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and position the company as a key player in the renewable energy infrastructure space. Key Responsibilities: Identify, target, and secure business opportunities in wind and solar farm infrastructure projects. Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, asset owners, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors. Lead the end-to-end business development process from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing deals. Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategy. Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases. Achieve and exceed revenue targets, driving business growth in the renewables sector. About You: Proven track record in business development, specifically within wind and/or solar farm infrastructure. Strong network within the UK renewable energy sector, including key decision-makers. Experience with large-scale schemes (11kV and above) within the commercial industry. Contracting experience in renewable energy or electrical infrastructure. Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver high-value deals. Knowledge of grid connections and electrical infrastructure is highly desirable. Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently. Strong communication and presentation skills.
